3.1.06	6 days	First outing	Grandpa Paul took Erinn and Tula out for breakfast.
3.8.06	13 days	Umbilical cord falls off	The bellybutton is an innie!
3.11.06	2 weeks, 2 days	First bath	Tula's first real bath in her tub.
3.18.06	3 1/2 weeks	First fever of 102 degrees	The fever resulted in 8 days in the hospital.  :(
3.30.06	5 weeks	First smile	Mama was changing her diaper and she responded to the chatter for the first time!
5.28.06	3 months, 5 days	Rolled over from stomach to back	We don't know if it was intentional, but a milestone nonetheless!
6.2.06	3 months, 10 days	Grabbed her mobile	Tula reached out and got a hold of those toys floating above her head.
6.23.06	4 months	First vaccination (HiB)	Tula cried for a minute, but was a trooper and smiling at the nurse 5 minutes later.
July '06	4 months	First real laughter	Tula had smiled and squealed before, but this was her first belly laugh.
7.7.06	4 months, 2 weeks	Second vaccination (Pneumococcal)	Tula didn't seem to even know what hit her before it was over.  Not a tear was shed.
7.16.06	4 months, 23 days	Rolled over from back to stomach	Tula did it behind Mama's and Papa's back.   We turned to discover her playing on her tummy.
7.22.06	4 months, 29 days	First swim	It was 107 degrees out so we went for a swim in Tula's new bikini.
8.14.06	5 months, 22 days	Second fever of 102.7 degrees	Just a fever...otherwise she seemed to be feeling fine!
8.17.06	5 months, 25 days	Foot in mouth for first time	Tula managed to suck on her big toe while sitting in her swing.
8.19.06	5 months, 27 days	Sat in her high chair and sucked on frozen grapes	Tula took the new chair for a test drive and tried out frozen grapes to sooth her gums.
9.1.06	6 months, 9 days	Tula's first cold  :(	Just a bit of a runny nose.  Mama and Papa got is much worse than Tula.
9.5.06	6 months, 13 days	First time she rolled onto her tummy to sleep	Mama found Tula with her face planted in the sheet.
9.16.06	6 months, 24 days	First solid food	If you can call mashed sweet potato solid food.  Tula liked it!
9.29.06	7 months, 6 days	Sat up all alone for the first time	Managed to catch it on film!  She was very proud of herself.
9.30.06	7 months, 1 week	First grass stains	We went to the park and she crawled around on the grass, getting grass stains on the knees of her blue cargos.
10.6.06	7 months, 2 weeks	First time she pulled herself up to stand	Tula pulled herself up using Papa's shirt while they were playing on the floor.
10.7.06	7 months, 2 weeks	First time she drank water from a cup	After lunch, Tula managed to sip a little from the edge of her sippy cup (with the lid off!)
10.9.06	7 months, 16 days	First real crawl	Tula coordinated her hands and feet for 6 steps!  She had been scooting along for a while, but this was a real crawl.
11.21.06	8 months, 29 days	First road trip	We drove to Southern California for Turkey.   Tula did great!
11.29.06	9 months, 6 days	Climbed the stairs	From bottom to top unassisted!  She's a climber... on top of boxes, into cupboards, whatever gives her a lift up!
11.30.06	9 months, 1 week	Mama!	Well, ok.  Maybe it was more like mmmmmm...mamamamam....mmmmm
12.23.06	10 months	First bath in big tub	Tula took it in the hotel room bathtub on our Christmas trip.
1.17.07	10 months, 25 days	First Tooth	No swelling or redness, but Tula didn't sleep very well for several nights.
2.15.07	Almost 1 year	Walking!	Not too steady on her feet, but she took some real steps.  Crawling is still the preferred method of travel.
7.2.07	16 months	First airplane ride	The whole family traveled to San Diego to see the family and meet Auntie Kathryn and cousins Matthew and Kaitlyn from Houston, TX and brand new cousins Winston and Noah.  We did great!
8.12.07	17 months	First pony ride	No pics :(  It was an impromptu event at the Farmer's Market.  Tula stayed on the pony all the way around the track!
